I’ll be honest I was a little concerned about having 2 1/2 weeks off training when I went on holiday. I love my life and what I do, I love my training … so although I was excited to go on holidays, I knew I would miss it too. It is really good for your body to have a break from what you do all the time. And even though I wasn’t lifting weights, I was out behind the boat every day waterskiing, wakeboarding, wake skating and trying new things out. It was super fun, and I think it is important to “Use Your Fitness”. Having a strong, healthy body is awesome, but putting it to use doing fun things is what life is all about. I think the Christmas break is the perfect time for me to have a refresh and a change of routine. We were staying on the Murry River and the little town only had a corner store and pub, which was perfect, as I am not very good at relaxing, so it made it easier for me to really enjoy my holiday.
so … my message is, enjoy your training and exercise … but use it to live and be happy too. Try new things and enjoy life! One of my goals this year is to make sure I do more fun things throughout the year that “Use Your Fitness”
